A personal note from the desk of our pledging director…
The 20th installment of the CHEO BBQ is coming on June 9th and it is going to be the best one yet!
In the spirit of health and wellness and to include even the smallest members of the CHEO BBQ community, we have added a 5K Family Walk, to compliment our other sports tournaments. What a great way to get involved!
The walk will start at the site of the CHEO BBQ and ending full circle back at the site right in time for lunch. This addition offers a wonderful opportunity to raise even more funds for CHEO and reach our fundraising goal of $60,000.
This is where you come in, I personally invite you to register for the First annual 5k walk at www.cheobbq.com/walk/ . We rely heavily on the fundraising efforts of all of our sports participants who collect pledges and donations.
Here’s how easy it is:
After you enjoyed a leisurely paced walk through the Beacon Hill neighbourhood you are offered free admission to explore the grounds of the CHEO BBQ.
I look forward in see you on June 9, 2012.
